Why have I become so weak?

Why, do you really need to be strong?

... and so goes the dialogue between Onuki-san and a doctor.

So apparently, Japan makes animated films in sync with real humans too. And if they do it, they really do it to the best of their abilities; and cash, of course. XD Paco and the Magical Picture Book sure defies surrealism.

Watched it because of Tsumabuki Satoshi. Yes I generally watch stuff because of cute guys. XD He wasn't "cute" in this film though; but I am not complaining.

You know it serves to teach a lesson. In a grand, weird, way.

~

I sent a snail mail this morning; a first after five years or so. I sure felt I was so untrusting of the postal service. Like, now, I fear it wouldn't reach where it's supposed to reach.

More fail is that I failed to sign the letter. XD

I don't get..

Why someone I don't know sends an e-mail to himself, and it ends up on my e-mail.

Like seriously, is this Yahoo!fail?

Pero medyo natuwa ako rito kaya I shall post. XD Apparently these lines were sent to Washington Post. Competition of making the sweetest first lines, to be followed by their total opposites...

I see your face when I am dreaming.
That's why I always wake up screaming.

Kind, intelligent, loving and hot;
This describes everything you are not.

Love may be beautiful, love may be bliss,
But I only slept with you because I was pissed.

I thought that I could love no other --
that is until I met your brother.

Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty and so is your head.

I want to feel your sweet embrace;
But don't take that paper bag off your face.

I love your smile, your face, and your eyes .......
Damn, I'm good at telling lies!

My love, you take my breath away.
What have you stepped in to smell this way?

My feelings for you no words can tell,
Except for maybe "Go to hell."

My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
Marrying you screwed up my life.

What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts vodka, one part lime.

Alex asks...

Alex: Kuya Tony, mahal mo ba si Mama Gina?

Kuya Tony laughs.

Alex: Mama Gina, ikaw, mahal mo ba si Kuya Tony?

XDXDXD

The Buzz, home edition, ensued.

...

Alex: Kuya Tony, mahal mo nga si Mama Gina?

Kuya Tony: Gusto mo nang totoong sagot?!

And there I was, and my brothers and Alex's mum, secretly hoping to eternity that he'd say 'yes...'

Kuya Tony: Hindi~!!

~

My father's leaving for America later.

We made punta sa Mall of Asia yesternight.

And participated in the Earth Hour unconsciously~!! Yatta. XD

Astig ung Razon's. Candlelit cheverness nung 8:30.

But my brother wanted to eat at Ongpin. Again.

I said I'm sick of it. For the first time. Growth~!! Haha.

And so we went North Park hunting.

Walangya. We made punta pa sa Makati.

And filled ourselves with, yes, Chinese food.

What's with Chinese food ba?

We then went to The Fort. And I slept sa sasakyan. Hahaha.

~

You gotta love obnoxious kids like Alex sometimes.

XD

So, ayun.

Chever.

Isa lang naman...

.. ang pangarap ko sa buhay.

Ang maging masaya.

Pero sadyang hadlang ang pera. O kawalan ko ng pera.

Natatawa ako pero gusto kong umiyak.

XD

I'm serious.

TTTTT-TTTTT

I have never desired for a calendar this much in my life.

Hahahahahaha.

Sad.

Pero kasi napakalaking achievement un eh. 70,000 people. 70,000 humans who share the same passion as mine. In a big, special, open space. With fireworks and waters and boys who perform wholeheartedly.

Hai naku. Next time, don't make me like anything. Ever.

Bakit ako nagchehechever dito?

Potek. Dalawang linggo na lang, ano ba.. Grr.

Naalala ko lang ung napanood ko kanina. Tungkol sa isang medical student at sa kanyang amang manggagamot. Tungkol sa isang manunulat at sa kanyang kabiyak.

Talagang ang hindi pagsasalita ay pagsasalita rin.

TTT-TTT

Pag-ibig. Paghihiganti. Kamatayan.

Pa'no na kaya sa pang-apat? XDXDXD

~

Hahaha. May common factor pala 'tong tatlo. Hahahahaha.

Whaddyaknow, Oguri Shun...

... would smile with Jun once more.

My display image in YM was foreshadowing~!! Hahahahaha.

April 17 can't get any nearer. And so we wait.

(Why do I get all Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with that last sentence? LOL.)

The pains...

.. of being born a female take toll.

I am sick.

Mum's still in Mindanao; but apparently would be back this coming Wednesday. The house is literally a mess. We fear.

Dad's leaving for America on the 29th.

Lastly, the rest of the world still suffers from recession whilst a stupid boyband, and their lovely staff, build boats out of gigantic Lego pieces to ride on for kilometers on end, to be shown on Japanese primetime television.

But really, why do I love those stupid people?

XD

Yet, why am I not concentrating on acads? I still have requirements: PaperSSSSS, examSS, reports, make-up cheverness to accomplish for ALL of my subjects~!!

Two weeks more. Just two weeks more~!!

TTT-TTT

Paper(s) Break

Here I am struggling for ideas to put on all four papers for MuL 13 due tomorrow..

..and Wikipedia-ing Jerry Yan again, after so many years.

Ah, so old. XD

But I really was in love with him. Haha.

I even wished that my dad still worked in Taiwan.

*Me and my obsessing self. Tsk.*

I wonder when I'd get tired of it all?

~

What is the difference between 'wind' and 'air?'

The former blows on its own accord.

The latter exists to be breathed by you and me.

Shet.

~

Is their a difference between 'fate' and 'destiny?'

The latter is self-determined.

The former is imposed by external factors and or beings.

I do not have a fate. I have a destiny.

Japan, just you wait.

XD

Words are powerful.

Why Paulo Coelho rocks my socks.

In my attempt to cram The Alchemist in my brain for tomorrow's quiz in Eng 12, I fought my being against e-books and went on a search.

Thank God I had. I've just read the most helpful introduction to a book ever.

XD

Coelho says there are four factors that hinder us humans from reaching our goal:

  1. We are told from childhood that having such and such dreams are impossible.
  2. Love - fear of giving up everything, and everyone, to follow that dream.
  3. Defeats - that when we get over our giving up people's expectations in us, we concern ourselves with committing mistakes. That everything we gave up for was useless.
  4. Upon a couple more steps onto reaching that goal, we hesitate. We feel guilt, looking around to those who failed in their journeys, and thinking that what we've done so far doesn't make us deserving of what we want (even though we worked our asses off for it).
And for his final paragraph, I shall type it here as a whole:

This (referring to the fourth) is the most dangerous of the obstacles because it has a kind of saintly aura about it: renouncing joy and conquest. But if you believe yourself worthy of the thing you fought so hard to get, then you become an instrument of God, you help the Soul of the World, and you understand why you are here.

~ Coelho, as translated by Costa, M.J.

I deserve every failure, and every accomplishment I've gotten until now.

My final words?

WALANGYA KA KUNG SINO KA MANG PINAHIRAM KO NG LIBRO KONG 'THE ALCHEMIST.' IBALIK MO NA SIYA PLEASE.

XD

I'm serious. TT-TT

What enables the mud...

... to make lotus flowers bloom?

Hahaha. What was that, a mear five minutes?! So sad..

Haha.

Well, who doesn't? LOL. In my case though, hindi siya hidden. <3

~

Sunken Garden~!! Hahaha. Reminds me of the long paper we have to write on it, relating to the Tragedy of the Commons. Anthro 132. Nakow.

Sometimes, positive views hurt, 'ya know. XDXDXD Lalo na 'pag medyo wala na talagang pag-asa.

Anyhoos, ansaya mag-karaoke without a karaoke machine sa Sunken. Shet talaga. Hahaha. Tapos SM Marikina after~!!

Doumo salamat very much!

Things fail when you need them the most. Sandals, LRT-2, ano ba? Hehehe.

What are overpasses for? TT-TT

~

I decided to be a lotus. I swear I'm over with feeling disheartened on people who don't appreciate my cuteness. Or those pretending to. It is their loss.

What I can do, I would. What I can't, I won't. This has always been the case anyhows.

I shall rant. But I shall never be fazed, ever.

Then again, I'm known to eat my words like how I'm doing with star apples nowadays.

Star apples, I  you~!!

~

So then, Sho too has a drama. And I have field school this summer. *cries*

Dreamscapes

Stupid bookstores. XD

Just when the acads get the toughest.

Bought Stephen King's Nightmares & Dreamscapes. Short stories collection na naman.

Ayun. I am doomed. Shet.

~

In other news: Finally finished Things Fall Apart. And I'm cursing myself for not finishing it before the quiz. Walangyang 3/10 'yan. Hahaha. Hindi rin nakapag-participate sa discussion kasi I was clueless. Gah.

LOL.

Tapos ko na rin ang The Sound of Waves ni Mishima Yukio. I shall perfect the quiz tomorrow~!! Yatta~!

Grabe I was rooting for the labtim all the way. Buti na lang... Woot. Pero trust Jap literature to end things with a disturbing paragraph. Or phrase.

Hai... Whatever.

~

Seryoso. Potek.

Kung sa Forensic Medicine...

.. ako mapunta, hindi n'ako magtataka.

What I learned from VOICE's 8th episode:
  • Idoling something equates to not seeing the big picture. Kasi nga blinded ka in awe (or in my case, by the shiny, shimmering, splendid of Arashi's wardrobe XD). Pero in life, nobody can see the big picture. I shall not spoil. Haha. Idolizing something is not all that bad. It compels you to act upon your dream. Or in my case, it gave me a dream that I seriously, seriously, want to fulfill. ='D
  • People shouldn't judge other people based on their emotions, or the things still other people say. They should make an effort to know somebody, or the instances that had that somebody, be that somebody. Hindi uubra ang backstabbing. In the end, sinusuffice lang nito ang need ng mga tao of less mundane, but incriminating, topics to talk to.

Pero, you know.. I don't know.

Let's all be happy~!!

RULES:
1. Write down 10 happy thoughts for the week.
2. Tag 10 persons in your contacts.
3. Make sure you leave a comment in their site.

Not in any particular order. Actually, not in order talaga. Magulo utak ko eh.

a. Arashi. Kailangan pa bang i-memorize ito?
b. Cake baking. @ Thea's. I will never look at brown sugar the same way again. XD

c. Rummage sale @ San Vicente for Eng 11. Sabi ko nga I am meant for great things. Hahaha.
LOL. Basta may shrimp. Masarap. Wooh.
e. Koreans. And Thea. Basta dayuhan + Thea. XDXDXD Shet ang laughtrip talaga. I shall never look at Koreans the same way ever again. Hehehe.
f. My mother has failed me. XD
g. Things Fall Apart. Kasi sobrang. Ewan. I cannot put it into words. Pero, I shall try: The novel didn't use complicated words. It didn't need them anyway. So good, on its own. =') Super fail nga kasi eto lang ung kaisa-isang babasahin na hindi ko natapos before mag-quiz for Eng 12. So far, peyborit ko siya. At 'di ko pa rin siya tapos. Other acads. Hmph. Hahaha.
h. I don't care anymore. Yosh~!! Ang vague. XD People's trust. Laban lang.
i. Woohoo~!!
j. Bartdei ni Luke. Eto I shall not try to put into words. Words aren't worth it.

A wind different from yesterday's will blow today...

..., won't it?

"Although various people are asking me questions about various things, whether the answers are right or wrong, surely they belong only to me. So, always sound the sound of an unwavering hope, to this heart that's gotten used to giving up."

~ Yano Kenta / Ohno Satoshi in Kumorinochi, Kaisei's second verse (as translated by saladesu@lj).
